WEEKLY BLESSINGS {6.30.25}

So faith comes from what is heard,
and what is heard comes through
the message about Christ.
Romans 10:17 CSB

Our faith grows when we are in the Word of God. The more time we spend in the Word, the more our faith in Him will grow. Another way to grow in our faith is live a life of gratitude. To give thanks to God for all He's done. To reflect on His blessings.

What is something you are thanking God for today?

HISTORY IN YOUR HANDS

I have never personally gone to the Holy Land, though it is a dream to do so. However, I know many people who have gone; including my parents and grandparents. The stories I hear and lifechanging. Everyone says you read the Bible differently after being in the Holy Land.

While I may not yet have stepped foot in this beautiful place, I can still own and touch it -and so can you. The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is a sacred site. In 1999, construction work displaced soil infused with three thousand years of sacred history from this hallowed ground. Archaeologists secured and carefully sifted the soil, uncovering artifacts from the First and Second Temple periods.

Temple Mount Soil lets you own a piece of this sacred land. Temple Mount Soil is authentic earth from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. It comes straight from the same ground where Solomon's Temple stood, where Jesus walked and taught, and where countless Biblical events took place.

You can purchase a wearable glass pendant containing the soil, a numbered bottle, a presentation-friendly case for home or office, or a book-shaped case designed for biblical collectors; each with a certificate of authenticity.

I have the wearable glass pendants, one hanging on the rearview mirror of my car and one hanging on the Ten Commandments posted in my home.

For the first time, you can own this rare piece of history from Jerusalem's holiest site. To find out more, click HERE, code TEMPLE10 will automatically be applied to give you a discount.

JUMP BACK IN

Take the helmet of salvation and the
sword of the Spirit—which is the word of God.
Ephesians 6:17 CSB

In just a few short days we will close out the first half of the year and begin downhill slide towards a new year. I always feel like the years go faster and faster; how are we already finishing June?!

In January many people begin a Bible reading plan or a commitment to read the Word every day. And many people start strong but at some point they begin to fade away until they are rarely picking up their Sword.

Life gets in the way. Schedules get full. We struggle to understand what we are reading. We just become lazy. There are many reasons why our consistent Bible reading fades. But the truth remains that we need the Word of God.

THE POWER OF MUSIC

 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly
as you teach and admonish one another with all
wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from
the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
Colossians 3:16

When I was in elementary school, there was a rumor going around the school that had me quite shaken. The more I heard kids talk about it, the more afraid I became. Soon, the fear was affecting my sleep. I remember one night I told my mom I was scared. Mom prayed with me, then she told me to listen to my “Jesus music” as I fell asleep. My Jesus music was cassette tapes of children’s worship. So we popped in a tape and the books of the Bible being sung to a rhythmic tune filled my room. Soon I was able to drift off to sleep.

WEEKLY BLESSINGS {6.16.25}

 See what great love the Father has
given us that we should be called God’s
children—and we are! The reason the world
does not know us is that it didn’t know Him.
1 John 3:1 CSB

Yesterday we celebrated Father's Day, honoring the fathers and father figures in our lives. I've always felt blessed by the men in my life. First I had a wonderful dad and Papa. Then I married a wonderful man who is an amazing dad to our kids and now Poppa to our grandbabies. And now I have three sons who are wonderful dads to my grandbabies.

But mostly, I am so thankful for my Heavenly Father. A Father who loves me so much He sent His Son to die and rise again for me. A Father who loves me unconditionally, but also loves me too much to let me remain the same. As we close out Father's Day for 2025, reflect on the goodness of our Heavenly Father.

What is something you are thanking God for today?
